.22 handgun clinic

Course Description: This course is intended for people to improve their shooting skills through the use of a .22 caliber handgun. Emphasis will be on mastering trigger control.

Topics: gun safety, group shooting, trigger reset, and multiple target shooting.

Length: three hours

Prerequisites: Basic Pistol 1 or higher

Required Equipment: A .22 caliber handgun and 200 rounds of ammunition. Eye and ear protection.

Optional Equipment: none

Taught by: Karl Rehn, Penny Riggs, or other staff NRA certified instructor

Facility: A-Zone range

Additional information: This course is strongly recommended for those with trigger control problems (yanking, jerking, low-left misses). A limited selection of loaner equipment will be available by prior arrangement.
