Competition Shotgun
Course Description: This course is intended for shotgun shooters who are interested in 3-gun, multigun and tactical shotgun matches.
Topics:
- Equipment- Discuss equipment issues such as shell caddies, vests, and sling use.
- Loading- Discuss different loading procedures and how to shave seconds on your reloads
- Movement and shooting positions- Most shooters burn extra time in movement. Specifically, getting in and out of shooting positions. The majority of the course will focus on efficiency in movement and getting in and out of positions.
- Transitioning between targets and shooting positions- Shooters spend a lot of time looking/ hunting for targets. We will focus on getting into positions that facilitate quick transitions between targets.
- Stage Game Plan- Discuss the stage break down process and how to build a “road map” to facilitate the “don’t think about it- just allow it to happen” game plan.
