Competition Rifle

Course Description: This course is intended for rifle shooters who are interested in 3-gun, multigun and carbine matches.

Prerequisites: Required: previous rifle shooting experience

Required Equipment: a centerfire, semi-auto rifle, preferably an AR-15 or AK-47 variant in a rifle caliber (iron sights, optics or both), with mountable sling, eye protection, ear protection, 3 gun belt or chest harness for magazines.

Optional Equipment: Knee and elbow pads, note taking materials. See the general policies page for suggestions on food, drink, clothing, etc.

Times: 8 am - 12 pm

Experience/Achievements: Special Forces Officer with 12 years of operational experience.  Nationally ranked 3 Gunner sponsored by Larue Tactical, Hornady Ammunition, Horus Vision, and Schuemann Barrels.
Personal: Trip is currently attending the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M earning a Masters in National Defense and Middle Eastern Affairs.
