NRA Instructor Training: Pistol Instructor

Course Description: This course certifies NRA instructors to teach the Basic Pistol and First Steps Pistol courses.

Length: 10 hours + exam + 6 hours Basic Instructor Training + NRA Basic pistol student course (9 hours)

Prerequisites: Those that have taken a full NRA Basic Pistol course and/or the NRA Basic Instructor Training course can omit those sections upon presentation of NRA documentation showing completion.

Required Equipment: A centerfire handgun, a minimum of 2 spare magazines or speedloaders, eye and ear protection, a baseball cap (to deflect spent brass and keep the sun out of your eyes) and a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition.
